Soulthread is intended exclusively for users who are 18 years of age or older. This applies to all features, including website access, waitlist registration, Story Mode, Free Chat, character creation, and optional mature narrative settings.

By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18. If you are under 18, you must not access or use Soulthread.

2. Why We Require 18+

Soulthread includes AI-generated narrative and companion experiences that may involve mature themes, emotional intensity, violence, political conflict, romance, and other adult subject matter—especially when optional mature settings are enabled.

Our age requirement helps us comply with applicable laws, platform store policies, and community safety expectations for adult interactive entertainment.

3. Age Verification

We may use one or more methods to confirm eligibility, including:

Self-declaration during sign-up or waitlist enrollment
Date-of-birth confirmation where collected
App store age ratings and parental controls
Device or account-level age signals from platform providers
Additional verification for mature content or payments where required by law

4. Relationship to Mature Content

Being 18 or older is necessary but not sufficient to access mature narrative features. Mature content also requires explicit in-app opt-in through Mature Content Settings. Users who do not enable mature settings receive the standard content experience.

5. Enforcement

If we learn or reasonably believe that a user is under 18, we may suspend or terminate access, delete associated data where appropriate, and block re-registration.

Providing false age information violates our Terms of Service and may result in permanent account closure.

6. Parents & Guardians

Parents and guardians should use device-level parental controls and app store restrictions to prevent minors from accessing adults-only applications.
