1. Overview

Soulthread offers an optional Mature Narrative Layer for eligible adult users. When disabled—the default—characters and stories follow our standard content guidelines. When enabled, the Service may present deeper character dynamics, more explicit dialogue, and mature story paths in both Story Mode and Free Chat.

Mature settings are designed as an opt-in layer that respects user boundaries. You control whether it is on.

2. Who Can Enable Mature Settings

Only users who are 18 years or older and in supported regions may enable mature content. Additional confirmation steps may appear at enablement or when accessing specific scenes.

Soulthread is not available in mainland China. Mature settings may be unavailable in jurisdictions where such content is restricted by law.

3. How to Enable or Disable

In the Soulthread app, open Settings → Content Preferences → Mature Narrative Layer. Toggle the setting on or off at any time. Changes apply going forward and may not retroactively alter saved conversation history.

Disabling mature settings immediately returns the experience to standard content filtering for new interactions.

4. What Mature Settings May Include

With mature settings enabled, you may encounter:

Stronger language and adult themes
Romantic or sexual tension in narrative context
Morally complex choices and intense conflict
Character dynamics that explore power, loyalty, trauma, or desire
Branching story paths not shown in standard mode

5. What Is Never Allowed

Even with mature settings enabled, the following remain strictly prohibited:

Sexual content involving minors or characters portrayed as minors
Non-consensual sexual content involving real individuals
Illegal activity instructions or exploitation
Bestiality or other content banned by applicable law or platform policy
Harassment, hate, or threats toward real people or groups
Attempts to generate deepfake intimate imagery of real persons without consent

6. Moderation & Safety Systems

Soulthread uses automated filters, policy rules, and human review workflows where appropriate. We may block prompts, redact outputs, warn users, or suspend accounts that attempt to violate content rules.

AI systems are imperfect. If you receive content that violates this policy, stop the interaction and report it to Soulthreadai@protonmail.com.

7. Your Responsibility

You are responsible for choosing whether mature settings are appropriate for you. Soulthread is entertainment software, not a substitute for human relationships, therapy, or consent-based real-world intimacy.

Do not use mature features in environments where adult content is inappropriate or prohibited.

8. Regional & Store Differences

Available mature content may vary by platform (iOS, Android, Web), app store policies, and local law. Some scenes or dialogue options available on one platform may be limited on another.
